VPMA hosting new regional meetings in Bucks and London

The Veterinary Practice Management Association is hosting 2 regional meetings in July, open to anyone with an interest in veterinary business.

The first of these took place in Wendover, Buckinghamshire today. Utilities are the topic and the talks take in telecoms, gas and electricity management. The second meeting will be held at Uxbridge College, London tomorrow, 10th July from 2pm - 4.30pm. Topics include how to take full advantage of the internet and updates on health and safety and employment law. Both meetings host networking sessions where attendees can mix and share experiences and learnings.

First up at the London meeting tomorrow is health and safety and employment law expert Mike Woolnough from Peninsula. Mike will give attendees an outline of H&S and employment best practices and highlight watch-outs where mistakes are commonly made. Royal Canin’s Lee Danks will then lead a discussion on whether you and your practice really are making the most of the internet and the opportunities that it offers. The fast moving world of the internet often makes it feel like stepping in to the unknown and Lee will demonstrate how it can be easily harnessed for the betterment of your practice.

Registration forms can be obtained at www.vpma.co.uk/education/cpd.html or by phoning the secretariat on 07000 782324. The sessions are excellent value for money, costing just £12+VAT for VPMA members and £18+VAT for non-members.
