Virtual Congress Selling Out!

Booking is now open for The Webinar Vet’s annual international veterinary Virtual Congress to be held in January 2016. With over 600 delegates already signed up, booking is essential to secure a place say the organisers.

Now in its fourth year, the congress will provide 35 hours of CPD in two streams over the event. “We are partnering with the BVA to provide its members with a 50% discount on the ticket price,” says The Webinar Vet founder, Anthony Chadwick MRCVS. “With over 600 places already booked, this year looks set to be a sell out!” he adds.

The 2016 congress takes place on Saturday 9th January with an international speaker line up that promises a packed and informative event. “We also have a pre-congress event on Friday 8th January,” says Anthony. “This includes a small animal vaccination symposium and a nursing stream with presentations from Martha Cannon and Louise O’Dwyer.”

Congress speakers include European experts as well those from around the globe, illustrating the international flavour of the event says, Anthony. “Renowned specialists include Michael Day and Jane Armstrong, and keynote speaker Mike Davies will present Recent Advances in Vet Geriatric Medicine. Other topics include ophthalmology, paediatrics, geriatrics, orthopaedics, cardiology, elective surgery and exotics, and we have just had confirmation from Dr Colin Harvey of the US Veterinary Oral Health Council, which is great news,” adds Anthony.

For those that cannot take part in the live event, sessions will be recorded for future viewing or reference. “Delegates can watch as much or as little of the event on the day as they like. It’s probably one of the biggest advantages with webinar CPD, it suits any lifestyle!”

The pre congress runs from 10.00 to 18.30 hours GMT on Friday 8th January 2016, with the 24 hour congress starting at midnight GMT on Saturday 9th January with continuous streams.

The event is open to non-members as well as members. Tickets cost £247.00, or £123.50 for BVA members. Further discounts are also available to The Webinar Vet Platinum Members. 10% of ticket sales will also be donated to Dogs Trust to help thousands of stray and abandoned dogs across the UK.
