YourVets24:You will be our New Graduate Vet Surgeon for our tier 3 hospital status veterinary clinic, dedicated small animal practice. You will be working in a very modern clinic which is keen on training and supporting graduate vets. Your new workplace has great transport links and has onsite parking for your car. You will have a mentor from day one, and work alongside a team of experienced and supportive vets and nurses, with varied case load and very interesting cases. Your new practice has invested in a range of high tech equipment in order to provide you with the best possible working environment and is also a twenty four hour clinic exposing you to emergency work as well. We are a big team ranging from approx. 30 to 35 team members in total including 12 veterinary surgeons.

Your New Role: You will have a great rota working mornings or evening weekdays with a one in three weekend pattern. Your medical/surgical skills will be used to their full potential and additional professional development will be supported and encouraged. You will be exposed to a range of different duties and experiences and will definitely learn something new every day. You will be joining our two year graduate programme which provides a new graduate with the essential skills and experience in a veterinary practice. This programme will give you the chance to develop and learn alongside highly skilled vets and nurses.

What you need to succeed: you will need to be registered with the RCVS as a qualified Vet by the start date of the programme in order to be eligible. You will need to be keen to take on any professional development opportunities that are available and committed to starting a career as a Vet. Determination and keen interest in learning is key.
