Your New Practice: You will be our New Graduate Vet Surgeon at Pet Doctors in Isle of Wight. You will be based at our main hospital with 4 -5 other vets. However, you will be occasionally working between our 4 branches.  You will be working in a very modern clinic which is keen on training and supporting graduate vets. Our practice has invested in a range of high tech equipment in order to provide you with the best possible working environment.

Your New Role: You will be working 40 hours per week with a 1 in 12 rota for nights and weekends. You will be working in a very supportive environment with an induction program which is monitored and assess to allow them to become accustomed to clinic roles at a time scale that works for both parties. You will be exposed to a range of different duties and experiences in order for you to find your preferred role. You will be joining our two year graduate programme which provides a new graduate with the essential skills and experience in a veterinary practice. This programme will give you the chance to develop and learn alongside highly skilled vets and nurses.

What you need to succeed: you will need to be registered with the RCVS as a qualified Vet by the start date of the programme in order to be eligible. You will need to be keen to take on any professional development opportunities that are available and committed to starting a career as a Vet.
