Exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a passionate and committed Emergency and Critical Care team, leading the way in patient care in the North East. Our practice is ideally situated, within easy reach of the stunning Northumberland coastline and the cultural delights of Newcastle upon Tyne. Your rota will include both day shifts and night shifts to encourage greater work-life balance, so you can have more time to enjoy what this beautiful part of the country has to offer. You will be working alongside an experienced referral team, offering services in orthopaedics, spinal surgery, soft tissue surgery, medicine, dermatology and ophthalmology. Their expertise in a wide range of disciplines and the facilities at our state of the art purpose-built hospital (with on-site MRI and CT), will offer you a great learning environment. As an integral part of the team, you will be heavily involved in case management, looking after inpatients and developing treatment plans too. It’s not all about the emergency work. We will support your interests through our generous CPD allowance and vet surgeon development programme, ensure you are refreshed with ample holidays and look after you with our wellbeing programme. Salary is dependent on experience, where certificate holders can expect up to £52,000 per annum.
