| Description | This approved Independent practice is looking for a good all rounder to be able to handle their mixed caseload. You will be manly working with Small Animals however there is a small percentage of exotic/zoo, large and equine. There is very little need to refer as they are able to work-up and treat most cases in house. With a great team of 6 vets and 8 nurses this practice can offer support and mentorship to new or recent graduates as well as development and CPD for those with more experienced. There are always two vets at the main site when completing ops and procedures and although there may be some light sole charge at the branch this is carefully scheduled depending on confidence and ability levels. They provide non-arduous on-call support (pager carrying) to their own clients. The rota being: 1 in 5 weeknights & 1 in 5 weekends. Self-contained accommodation an be provided away from the practice but locally. Applicants will need to drive, however the practice can provide use of a car short-term if needed.
