Description | S.P.C.A. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is looking for junior and senior veterinarians to join our community animal clinic. The SPCA’s clinic is unique, as it is a not-for-profit clinic serving needy animals in Singapore. These include street dogs and cats, abused and rescued animals, shelter animals and, eventually, pets from low-income households. As part of the clinic team, you will be responsible for the provision of the highest standards of veterinary medicine and care. As our clinic is currently expanding, you will be instrumental in helping us grow and develop into a full-fledged community animal clinic. You will also be involved with community health programmes that make a direct and positive impact on the lives of animals and their human caregivers. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in Singapore for the country’s largest animal welfare organisation. Besides running a community animal clinic, the SPCA shelters over 200 animals, runs an emergency animal rescue service, conducts cruelty and welfare investigations, and has strong education and advocacy programmes. Working in Singapore, a vibrant, clean and safe Asian city, you will also enjoy tropical weather all year round, have ready access to delicious and affordable local and international cuisines, and be able to take part in a lively arts and entertainment scene. From Singapore, you will have easy access to many amazing travel destinations, all a short distance away. Key duties
