Excellent opportunity for a small animal vet surgeon to join an RCVS Accredited small animal Hospital in Berkshire. The practice can offer a 3 day or 4 day working week depending on preferences. 1:5 weekend (Saturday morning and one night (Fri/Sat/Sun ooh/on call).

Based in a pretty, historical town and within easy access of London and Heathrow you will find a very friendly and experienced multi vet team. Two of the vets are certificate holders (endoscopy and medicine). Other interests within the team are feline medicine, diagnostic imaging, pain management to name but a few. You also have the benefit of a very strong network of RVN's (18 in total) and support staff. There is some sole charge (24 hour back up). 

Applicants need to be confident with routine procedures and on call duties. You don't necessarily need your own transport as this is a single site and there is a train station nearby. The practice has over-night facilities for ooh's/on call if needed.

Special interests are particularly welcome for example anyone wanting to enhance and build on the amount of orthopaedic cases or if you enjoy soft tissue surgery. There is ample opportunity to work up cases. The practice can support anyone looking to do a certificate in the future.

Facilities include:
Separate cat and dog ward, operating theatre, digital radiography, endoscope, ECG, in house lab, ultrasound etc. 

CPD - highly encouraged and supported. Competitive salary. No accommodation.
