We have a vacancy for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to work alongside the existing team to provide care through excellence, across our three busy first opinion and referral practices. This is a maternity cover position for 12 months. Full time and part time applications will be considered.

 The practice has numerous certificate holders in various disciplines and has an excellent in-house laboratory allowing gold standard evaluations. These include, but are not limited to blood gas, primary and secondary coagulation, d-dimers, osmolality, ketones, ammonia and bile acid. Video endoscopy, advanced doppler ultrasound and digital radiology are also available on site with access to CT and MRI scanning. 

Candidates must be MRCVS registered (or eligible for registration), have 3-5 years relevant experience and have excellent English communication.

 The working pattern will be 40 hours per week, working a mixture of early and late shifts Monday to Friday. You will work one weekend in three and be given time off during the week to compensate. If part time, the work pattern would be 1 weekend in 3 plus 2 weekdays.
