We have 2 exciting opportunities for veterinary surgeons to expand our team at Wherry Vets in Bungay on the Norfolk / Suffolk border. Previously a mixed equine and small animal practice we are now 100% small animal and this has resulted in the need for 2 additional vets to join our team. We are searching for 1 vet with a minimum of 2 years UK experience and a second position is available which would be suitable for a new or recent graduate looking to expand their case load and experience within a supportive and friendly team. Our vets work a 4 day week with a rota to include 4 day weekends off work to allow “mini breaks” without eating into holiday entitlement. We pride ourselves on offering high quality care for pets an owners and give out vets the opportunity to work up cases to a high standard with support of experienced vets if required. We have a great team of veterinary nurses an receptionists and a modern purpose built practice with digital x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy. We pride ourselves on continually investing in the practice and our staff and providing our clients with client-vet continuity. A share in the out of hours rota would be required but our out of hours is quiet and has full veterinary nurse backup. We provide a generous salary, CPD allowance with certificates for the right candidate, funded RCVS and VDS fees, pension, private healthcare and a friendly supportive team
