Elanco launches new ‘Pet Magic Moments’ social media campaign for Milbemax

Elanco Animal Health has launched an exciting new social media campaign to drive engagement between veterinary practices and their clients on social media and encourage customer footfall direct to the veterinary practice. 

The #PetMagicMoments campaign aims to build an online community of pet owners, vets and vet nurses who all share a love of pets and the magic moments they bring to their lives. Backed by Milbemax, pet owners and veterinary professionals are being encouraged to post their #PetMagicMoments on social media - Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

To participate in Milbemax’s #PetMagicMoments campaign, pet owners and practice staff can capture, upload and share their moments on social media with a weekly prize of a personalised cushion going to the image with the most ‘Likes’, ‘Shares’ or ‘Retweets’! All entries will go into a prize draw to win £500 worth of Forest Holidays’ vouchers.

In addition, #VetMagicMoments enables veterinary practice staff to share the heart-warming stories that happen in practice, with a chance to win a monthly prize of a £250 restaurant voucher for the individual veterinary practice with the most popular post or Tweet.

Elanco will be sharing informative content on its social media including worming advice, pet related information, news, statistics and competitions and quizzes, which will all be available for veterinary practices to share via their own social media. 

Elanco has produced a handy launch pack to support the exciting new #PetMagicMoments campaign and promote it to vet practice colleagues and clients.  The pack includes:

  • A campaign guide
  • Three social media ‘how to’ guides covering Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • A staffroom poster
  • #VetMagicMoments photo-frame for each participating practice
  • Point of sale material (bunting, pack of balloons, waiting room display kit, waiting room poster, window graphics)
  • Sweets for practice staff!
