Full house at recent graduate cardiology CPD day
Over 80 recent veterinary graduates attended Boehringer Ingelheim’s cardiology CPD day in Birmingham on 14th April.
The day featured sessions delivered by two of the UK’s leading veterinary cardiologists - Professor Adrian Boswood MA VetMB DVC DipECVIM-ca MRCVS from the Royal Veterinary College in Hertfordshire and Dr Mark Patteson MA VetMB PhD DVC CertVR MRCVS from Heart Vets at Vale Referrals in Gloucestershire.
The specialists brought a day of fun, interactive case-based cardiology which built on the graduates’ existing knowledge and experience.
Attending on the day was Thomas Rees, founder of the VetGrad.co.uk website. “I found the day very educational, as did all those I spoke to. The speakers delivered well-structured and informative lectures.”
The company plans to repeat the event later in the year in the south of England for anyone that was unable to attend. Recently graduated vets wishing to attend can register their interest by sending an email to vetmedin.bra@boehringer-ingelheim.com.
