Cuban Conference on Small Animal Medicine and Surgery

The Dick White Charitable Foundation is organising a two day Cuban/International Conference in Havana in conjunction with the Cuban Scientific Veterinary Council as part of their 2013 CPD programme.

The conference will run from Friday April 26 to Saturday April 27, 2013, at the Parque Central Hotel, Havana.

The conference is being organised with the support of Direct Medical Systems and any profits will be channelled to Aniplant, a charity caring for street dogs in Havana. Conference delegates will have the opportunity to visit the Aniplant clinic and meet the volunteer vets working there.

Topics covered by international speakers at the conference will include:

• Soft Tissue Surgery

• Orthopaedics

• Oncology

• Anaesthesia

• Internal Medicine

• Ophthalmology

• Diagnostic Imaging

The programme will also include break-out Workshops on specific topics of particular interest to the participating delegates.

The registration fee for the two day conference is £150. This includes all lectures and workshops, a Welcome Reception on  Thursday April 25, lunches and refreshments throughout the conference.
