We require an enthusiastic, veterinary surgeon to join our friendly, supportive team in the beautiful North West. We have three branch surgeries all within a 7-mile radius. Our main branch is based in Carnforth the home of Brief Encounter (google it!) Our second branch is in Morecambe next to the seaside and our third branch in the historic city of Lancaster. We are also the gateway to the stunning Lake District. Whether you like walking, hiking or dog walking this place really does take your breath away.
We are a 100% small animal practice with various toys including digital x-ray, ultrasound and ECG. You would join a 1 in 4 rota (including weekends) and be part of a well-managed and supportive team that includes 4.5 vets, 4 qualified experienced nurses, 4 student nurses and 4 receptionists. Operations are equally shared and you will get one half day per week off.
Pay will depend on experience. The ideal candidate would have a good grounding in small animal work, have a willingness to become part of our team, have great communication skills and have the ability to show you care.
