Our dedicated and professional teams at our busy 1st opinion and referral practices within Abington Park Veterinary Group are committed to delivering service excellence.  Work will shortly begin to extend our existing Moulton site enabling us to offer advanced imaging along with our medical and surgical referral service, so it is an exciting time to come on board.
This position is full time (40 hours per week) with a Monday – Friday rota (including a mixture of early and late shifts) with a week of nights every 9 weeks.  Bank holidays and sick cover included on a rota basis.  This position would suit a newly qualified RVN.
The preferred candidate will be a committed, enthusiastic, and hard working individual who is a strong team player and keen to improve their nursing skills. The positions include emergency work, critical care nursing and the opportunity to assist in a range of advanced surgical and medical procedures, such as MRI/CT scanning, advanced orthopaedics, specialist nursing and nurse clinics.
A full driving licence is needed as you may be required to drive the practice ambulance to collect animals.  Applicants should also be fit enough to cope with the physical demands of the role – lifting/restraining animals and cleaning.
