This independent practice based in Ipswich is looking for a veterinary surgeon with at least 2 years experience to work in their busy branch practice. There is no sole charge (3 f/t vets and 1 p/t staff member are always on duty). This is a 10+ vet practice across the two branches. You will be working alongside 4 other vets. It will be a 4 day week work pattern including a 6 person on call rota. You will get 4 weekends off in 6! There is a 6 week on call rota.  OOH rota pattern  - 5 of those weeks you would work one night per week and on the remaining week there are no nights. A nurse is always on hand to take the calls initially and a veterinary surgeon Director is always on 2nd call back up. 20% of on call fees are paid as a bonus. There is a certificate holder in orthopaedics, 3 full time nurses and 2 part-time. This is a very forward thinking practice with great tools and equipment to help you develop and grow.  £1000 - CPD. Consideration can be given for those wanting to pursue a certificate.  Competitive salary based on experience. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
