Student Veterinary Nurse/ Patient Care Assistant - Acton

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Patient Care Assistant/1st Year Student Veterinary Nurse join our practice in Acton.  

The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a busy team and possess the confidence to work alone when required; you will have a flexible and adaptable approach to work, happy to get stuck in where ever needed.

Part of your role will involve a wide range of tasks which will include nursing care, reception duties and client support.

Please note: All SVN applicants must have already enrolled with the RCVS and already be undergoing training with an approved provider.

Entry Requirements:

• Full drivers licence is essential.
• Applicants must have 5 GCSE's at grade C or above to include Maths, English Language and a Science and be in possession of examination certificates, or alternatively;
• City & Guilds will accept alternative qualifications, e.g. Veterinary Care Assistant Certificate, Animal Nursing Assistant Award or National Diploma in Animal Care - you will still be required to provide proof of GCSE Maths and English and provide the original certificates.
• Previous work experience within a veterinary practice is desirable (voluntary or paid) along with a willingness to learn; work experience with animals would also be beneficial.
