Selworthy Vets in Kingsbridge, Devon are currently looking for an experienced mixed vet to join our friendly, fun loving team of 5.5 vets and 6 nurses. You will get to work in our stunning new, purpose built premises with the sea, beaches and coastal walks just minutes from your doorstep.

We are a young, dynamic team looking for a hard working and caring vet to help us offer the best care to our patients and clients. The role would suit both experienced mixed vets and recent graduates with support from experienced colleagues in both small animal, farm and equine.

As an additional member of our growing team we can accommodate any areas of interest in SA, Farm or Equine although initially the role will consist of a reasonable proportion of small animal work.  As a practice we are committed to remaining an independent, progressive, mixed practice so we encourage participation and advancement in all areas of mixed practice.  A good sense of humour and desire to offer outstanding patient care are a must, as we would like to continue to receive Facebook reviews like this..

We have excellent facilities with a great team of supportive nurses and excellent support staff and all the toys:

Brand new purpose built small animal facilities with separate dental suite, imaging suite, dog and cat wards and isolation

Brand new purpose built equine facilities

Digital X-ray (CR & DR)

Endoscopy (SA & Eq)

Gastroscopy (SA & Eq)

Ultrasound scanners (4 including SA/Eq & Bugs)

Full in-house lab

Laser therapy

Hydrotherapy

CPD fully funded (including certificates)

Accommodation and car available if required

Generous package with above average pay.  Four day week,  maximum 1:4 OOH but likely 1:5 or 1:6 depending on the working pattern agreed, with full back up from experienced nurses and senior vets.
